“I have truly found a passion in writing. Completing my first book, EATING DISORDERS-Decode The Controlled Chaos – Your Knowledge May Just Save a Life- provides a larger forum to share my message. The entire process has been an incredible journey as a woman, a mother, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, and a therapist who is filled with gratitude and empathy for those who trust me to walk with them on the journey of recovery. I am hoping that people are willing to take part in this journey of mindful recovery and continue to spread the message that WE need to take the time to pay attention to the signs, WE need to take a deeper listen to the silent screams that speak for eating disorders and other addictions, and WE need to do this together. WE ALL NEED EACH OTHER. Tell one person, who tells another, and so on and so one. This is how our voices get stronger and ALL aspects of this deadly illness MUST be exposed. WE must walk through any fears of exposing this secret so WE can save lives.”
